Your support will help the work of the Foundation and its vision to create a new environmental education centre in Hyde Park. What do we ask for in return?

We will be asking our "Team Squirrel" members to pay a £50 registration fee up front to confirm your place.

In addition, we ask that you pledge to raise a minimum of £275 towards the work of the Foundation and our Look Out Centre appeal. This can be through sponsorship from your family and friends – or through other creative fundraising activities such as selling unwanted possessions on Ebay; persuading your colleagues to buy your homemade cookies for elevenses; hosting a fundraising BBQ or karaoke night at home and so on...

Fundraising for The Look Out Education Centre

Our major campaign this year is to raise the £2m needed to create a fantastic new, environmental education centre in the heart of Hyde Park – a place where young people can learn about the natural world and the importance of looking after it. Up to now, visiting primary school children have been taught in classrooms converted from old police dog kennels. These rooms are dilapidated, poorly heated, un-insulated and cramped, with no toilet or washroom facilities. Our vision is for a fabulous new building, surrounded by a nature trail, which will be able to host thousands more young people and community activities throughout the year. We have already raised over £1.4million of the £2million required - please help us raise the rest!

All you need to do to become a Team Squirrel member is:

1. Register on the Virgin Money Giving website – our race fundraising partner - and pay the £50 registration fee.

2. Once this step is complete, we’ll send you a username and password for you to complete the official half marathon registration form.

3. You will also be able to set up your own personal fundraising page at the same time, giving you plenty of time to get your friends behind you!
